| AI top3
Well how awesome was tuesday and WEDNESDAY!
I Seriously "couldn't be happier" with the results it was my dream come true! i think i almost passed out myself i was so happy!!!! i know i'm a dork
ok so tuesday's performances...
I loved that Cook did a switchfoot song but i just wish he would've cut it down better it was too short for me.
Archuleta did amazing as usual. and i loved his second song and was glad he chose a younger song. so america vote vote vote next tuesday! but ya know i really don't care who wins now! i got my boys in the FINAL!

| Well what a lackluster night. Let's see where to start.... Syesha
did an oh so boring, pitchy rendition of some tina turner song. I just
have to sit and think of last year and how great Melinda was with tina
turner songs. this girl just don't have it. Jason did well didn't he?? HA! i mean i LOVED his second song if only he hadn't forgotten the words... ugh. David
Cook did so so, i get why people think he's arrogant, i just think it's
confidence, maybe i'm wrong. But wouldn't you be arrogant too if you
were as talented as he is and were competing against well, who you're
"competing" against?? c'mon now. And that brings me to David
Archuleta WHAT AN AWESOME NIGHT! he did exceptionally well i think.
And folks i know he's boring to watch i do! but what you and at least I
gotta think about is, how many concerts are you gonna see him in, and
then how many cd's are you gonna buy??? it far outweighs i'd say. His
voice his magic and he deserves to rise to the top, although he'll
probably pass out if he's ever crowned. haha. so folks he's my pick
for the week AGAIN! :)
comments?....

| Hey ya'll So the AI top 5, pretty interesting night i'd say.
Quite honestly... I thought Jason did ok that's more his style and i tend to like the folky type stuff.
David Cook, i thought was a little off last night he just didn't do it for me. idk?
Brooke-looks
like a man sometimes haha. and well i thought her first song was kinda
hoky, but the next one was ok. I wish i liked her more. I wish her
vocals weren't so if-y you really can't depend on her to be "perfect"
every week.
Syesha- I thougth did a great job last night, not
that i think she should stay, but i thought her song choice was really
good. It was definitely her. :)
And... David Archuleta good
grief! he was really good last night! i liked his first song fine, but
then his second, America, has one my attention for this week. I love
that song anyway, and his voice was great on it, plus i was super glad
he picked more up-beat songs so he didn't look totally boring. :) so that's the video you'll find!! check it out and comment. :)
Like i said i really liked syesha first song, here are the lyrics.
Hello again, hello Just called to say hello I couldn't sleep at all tonight And I know it's late But I couldn't wait Hello, my friend, hello Just called to let you know I think about you ev'ry night When I'm here alone And you're there at home, hello Maybe it's been crazy And maybe I'm to blame But I put my heart above my head We've been through it all And you loved me just the same And when you're not there I just need to hear Hello, my friend, hello It's good to need you so It's good to love you like I do And to feel this way When I hear you say, hello Hello, my friend, hello Just called to let you know I think about you ev'ry night And I know it's late But I couldn't wait Hello

| What a Fantastic night! yes, i know i'm a broadway junkie (10 days till wicked!) and i saw Phantom of the opera in the theatre like 10 times, but besides all that....
I
thought tonight was great! the first three (syesha, jason, and brooke)
were fine. Brooke shouldn't start and stop and start again songs. UGH!
how unprofessional. but she did great once she got going. Jason's just weird. Memory? c'mon now. syesha just needs to pack her bags.
BUT
the last three (top three) were FANTASTIC! David Archuleta was
phenomal I LOVE LOVE LOVED his arrangement of Think of Me. LOVED IT!
As much as i love All I ask of You, i'm so glad Carly chose Jesus Christ Superstar. she did an AMAZING job with that!
And david cook... MY GOODNESS! how amazing was Music of the Night?! i loved him doing that first high note in the song SPOT ON!
so yeah tonight was great. nuf said. I need a life... i know. i know i know.

| We're singing this great hymn at church on Sunday. This should be our creed everyday.
Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light. 2. Be Thou my Wisdom, Thou my true Word; I ever with Thee, Thou with me, Lord; Thou my great Father, I thy true son; Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one. 3. Be Thou my battle-shield, sword for my fight, Be Thou my dignity, Thou my delight. Thou my soul's shelter, Thou my high tower. Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power. 4. Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise, Thou mine inheritance, now and always: Thou and Thou only, first in my heart, High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art. 5. High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heav'ns Son!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my vision, O ruler of all. | | |
